About the Artist: Kathleen McBride In the process of exploring the hand forged arts, Kathleen
soon discovered a kindred connection to fire and glass first through
glass fusing, then adding lamp (torch) work, and more recently
kiln casting sculptures and glass blowing. "The richness
and purity of color through the artistic medium of glass and its
combinations along with the endless possibilities to create, allows
me to feed a hungry part of my soul."
Kathleen's original wall, window and free standing glass
creations span a range from realism to abstract and from casual
to refined elegance. "My art is my play time, my meditation
time....my reconnecting with me time. I want people to feel
freedom, fun and flow when they view my work."
